Why the NHL is the ultimate breeding ground for mumps Doctor/Patient Conference Activity
After reading the MacLeans article Why the NHL is
the ultimate breeding ground for mumps, divide into
groups of 3. Each group member will select a role doctor, coach, or NHL player. From the information in
the article, and also the iPad cart, use the scientific
research method we have been working on to
individually research your role and find the answers to
the questions listed under your role below. Make
notes to remind yourself of the answers, and also take
note of any other interesting and relevant information
you may find that you can share with your group
members. After all your group members have
completed their research, your group will come back
together and hold a Doctor/Patient Conference where
the NHL player, the coach, and the doctor will meet
and share information based on the questions they are
required to research. Finally, as a group, you will
complete the Patient & Diagnosis Report based on
your research and discussion.
