(Indonesia), Chicago, Honolulu (Hawaii), white house, New York City,
and Africa
Why- I was drawn to report on this person because I think that it is
amazing that Barack Obama is the first African American to be
president of the United States of American.
Frederick Douglass
Who-Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey aka Frederick Douglas
What- Frederick Douglas was a Abolitionist leaderthat was born into slavery in
Talbot County, Maryland and he became one of the mostfamousintellectuals of
his time what he did was basically advising presidents and lecturing thousands
of people on a range of causes, including women's rights and Irish home rule.
When-Fredrick Douglas died on February 20, 1895,Washington, DC
Where-Frederick Douglas has lived in Rochester which is a place in New York,
Fredrick Douglas has also lived in Baltimore which is a large city in Maryland.
Why-what drawn me to report about this person was that he was an
abolitionist leader that became one of the most intellectuals of all time
meaning he advised presidents and lectured thousands of people on the range
of cause including women's rights and Irish home rules and I think that is
interesting and awesome.
Jackie Robinson
who-Jackie Robinsons full name is Jack Roosevelt Robinson.
What-Jackie Robinsonbecame the first African-American to play
in baseball's major leagues.
When-Jackie Robinson died October 24, 1972,North Stamford,
Stamford, CT
Where- Jackie Robinson has lived in Brooklyn, Pasadena, New York
City, Stamford, and Cairo.
Why- I was drawn to this person because he was the first
African American to ever play baseball and I think that was
awesome for an African American first playing baseball.
