In 2010, the Institute of Medicine published the report on The Future of Nursing – Leading Change, Advancing Health. The report challenged our profession to make changes in order to meet the demands of a reformed healthcare and public health system.
Have we met that challenge? Are we making progress? Come and hear what thought leaders from the National, State, and Local levels have to say, and what you need to consider regarding the future of nursing.

Keynote Speaker: Linda Burnes Bolton, DrPH, RN, FAAN, will give us the national perspective. Dr. Burnes Bolton was the Vice-Chair of the IOM Committee on the Future of Nursing, and is the President of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) and Vice President for Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
