Healthcare is changing. Nursing is changing.

In 2010, the Institute of Medicine published the report on The Future of Nursing
Leading Change, Advancing Health. The report challenged our profession to make changes in
order to meet the demands of a reformed healthcare and public health system.

Have we met that challenge? Are we making progress? Come and hear what
thought leaders from the National, State, and Local levels have to say, and what
you need to consider regarding the future of nursing.

Are you ready?

Keynote Speaker: Linda Burnes Bolton, DrPH, RN, FAAN, will
give us the national perspective. Dr. Burnes Bolton was the ViceChair of the IOM Committee on the Future of Nursing, and is
the President of the American Organization of Nurse Executives
(AONE) and Vice President for Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer
at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Judee Berg, RN, MS, FACHE, will share progress
and opportunities from the State level. Judee is the
Executive Director of the California Institute for
Nursing and Health Care (CINHC)
A panel of local nursing leaders will engage in discussion
regarding our readiness for change in the San Joaquin Valley.
