Hope!

Our Hope is in God! Hope is part of our Faith walk and the evidence of things
Hoped for!
The Psalmist, David assures us that our Hope is in the Lord!
Psalm 39:7
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
Psalm 130:5
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

A good definition for Hope is confident expectancy! Hope does not arise from
our desires or our wishes, but from our Lord and is not wishful thinking. Hope is
the real thing! Its faith in action when we step out and Believe for our prayers
to be answered!

Hope In Jesus

I Peter 3:13-17
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is
good?

But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not
afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give
an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in
you with meekness and fear:

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of
evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good
conversation in Christ.

For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing,
than for evil doing.

Hope separates us from the world. It distinguishes the Believer from

the unbeliever who has no Hope!

Proverbs 10:28-30
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of
the wicked shall perish.

The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall
be to the workers of iniquity.

The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not
inhabit the earth.

Jeremiah 31:16-17
Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes
from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they
shall come again from the land of the enemy.

And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children
shall come again to their own border.

Sometimes when we think the Heavens are brass, God is closer to us than a
brother. He is there and He knows our troubles, just like He knows how many
sparrows fall to the ground!

Proverbs 18:24
24A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a
friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Matthew 10:29-31Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not
fall on the ground without your Father.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Lament and Hope

We serve a merciful god, full of grace, compassions, love, understanding and

Hope!

Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his
compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Justified by Faith

We are justified by our faith in God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We
rejoice in the Hope of His Glory!
Romans 5:1-2
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ:

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we
stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
