I plan to discuss, money issues and the income level can be the causes of poverty. Ill
answer questions like the percentage of race, the common age when you have poverty issues,
what does the government do to help the poverty issues, the poverty percentage in the United
States, mostly just questions about the percentages involving poverty. I also discuss Africa, Haiti
and of course the United States. All my information is between 2012-2014.
Government does help in some of these situations; government helps these families rent
homes until they get back on their feet, called section 8, the kids who live in government paid
homes about more than 30 million children are growing up in poverty in low-income
community.
The percent in the United States, 21.8 percent for children under age 18. Even over the
age 18 the percentage of poors are still high at 15 percent in the United States. The percentage in
poverty in the u.s., had dropped between 1990 and 200, the department of commerces statistical
abstracts of the united states in 1990, 18 percent versus 15.6 percent in 2000, living in poverty.
The percent of poverty has increased in the united states, during 2013, 45.3 million
people in poverty in 2012 the poverty rate for children under 18 fell from 21.8 percent in 2012

to 19.9 percent in 2013 for three years in a row the amount of people in poverty at the national
level was no statistically different from the previous years estimate.
The poverty rate for people aged 18 to 64 was 13.6 percent, while the rate for people
aged 65 and older was 9.5 percent. Neither of these poverty rates was statistically different from
their 2012 estimates. 2013, the official poverty rate was 14.5 percent, down from 15.0 percent
in 2012. This was the first decrease in the poverty rate since 2006.
Despite the decline in the national poverty rate, the 2013 regional rates were not
statistically different from the 2012 rates. The 2013 poverty rate was two percent more than in
2007, the year before the most recent recession.
The rare percentage on poverty was highest on blacks 39 percent, American
India/Alaska native children 36 percent Hispanic children 25 percent and children of two or more
races 22 percent. The lowest percentage was 13 percent white and 14 percent Asian.
The second highest percent is black or American with 25.8 percent, Indians and Alaska natives
has the highest percent for poverty with 27.0 percent.
Income level qualifies as poverty, the all people living in the house have to receive Tank,
SSI, or in some places general assistance. The kids who live in government paid homes about
more than 30 million children are growing up in poverty in low-income community(Wight).
A progressive income tax taxes people with higher income at higher rates. In 2001, u.s.
federal tax rates started at 15 percent and climbed to 39 percent, with three intermediate brackets.
Nation of countrys government gives away money to those with reduced incomes but politicians
do not care about this, since this way they can keep on buying their votes with cash
