The All For Green Party (TAFGP)

Soyun Park
The All For Green Party (TAFGP) is inspired by a desire to build a bright future. This
means a future where nature and the oceans thrive and co-exist in harmony with
humans. This is important because the natural world is already feeling the effects of
human occupation through pollution, global warming and increasing levels of
globalization. If the human beings are to continue to co-exist in this planet, their way of
living and actions need to change. This party has set up 10 policies that support the
natural environment and will create a more sustainable way of living. TAFGPs foreign
policy focuses on establishing fair trade, low impact agreements. Domestically, TAFGP
are supporting the rehabilitation of prisoners through positive green programs.
Environmentally, water use will be reduced through increased shower use. Economically,
the TAFGP will localize and establish a new local currency. Socially, encouraging a
healthy diet for children will decrease dependency on healthcare system. TAFGPs
immigration policy will provide free visas to workers in environmental centric
companies. The military will help local agriculture thrive through programs to support
farmers. In education, one day in the natural classroom will be introduced. The waste
policy will reduce the amount of non-recyclable waste produced. TAFGP believes Wi-Fi
and the Internet is an essential part of everyday life and will reduce the carbon emission
associated with this through green energy providers. The color representing TAFGP is
chartreuse, which is a mixture of yellow and green. Not just another green party, TAFGP
is drawing the energy from the yellow sun and the life giving green from the plants.
TAFGP are creating a healthier and happier world.
Policy number one: Foreign
New foreign trade agreements will only be made with companies that provide organic
fair trade or recycled products. Inspired by Cradle to Cradle certified products (Home),
which promotes the manufacturing industries commitment to sustainability, TAFGP
believes that by doing this, industrialized countries can significantly decrease the
amount of waste produced and also support local workers around the world to gain a fair
wage and sustainable livelihood.
Policy number two: Domestic (crime)
Prisoners will have access to choose an environmental topic they are interested in and
receive work experience in this area. Their choice will depend on the sentence they have
received. TAFGP believes that this way of supporting prisoners can help them gain work
and contribute positively within society when they are released. Prisoners will be chipped
to ensure maximum security.
Policy number three: Environment
No baths will be produced after 2015 and only showers will be manufactured. This is a
water saving measure. Showers use significantly less water than baths. With water
shortages becoming more frequent, TAFGP believes that this is one simple measure that
everybody can take to reduce their water use.
Policy number four: Economic
A local cooperative will be set up in one town to trial the green currency. Inspired by the
Lewes Pound (Making), the currency can be used locally within the town to support local

enterprise and business. TAFGP believes this is vital to create sustainable markets and
better provision of services and goods for local communities.
Policy number five: Social health
All schools will provide one piece of unprocessed, organically grown vegetable or fruit
per day at lunchtime to the students that are in grade one to twelve. TAFGP believes that
rather than spending more money for peoples healthcare due to bad diet, spending
enough money to encourage healthy eating will benefit the country. If any students have
allergies to any produce, alternative will be provided.
Policy number six: Immigration
Environmental workers will be provided a free work visa as long as they provide a
certificate to prove the authenticity of their claim. This policy is part of TAFGPs
commitment to the development of green industry and supporting a more sustainable
planet. People that are eligible for these visas will work for companies with solid
environmental principles such as but not limited to: renewable energy providers, organic
food producers and recycling companies.
Policy number seven: Military
New rank for soldiers will be created, named green warriors. One of the soldiers duties
must be working in agricultural areas for the first 12 months. It is essential because the
farming population is aging and need more manual labor. Soldiers are group of people
who work for the countries and TAFGP believes that making agricultural more
productive is vital for the sustainability of the country.
Policy number eight: Education
The students will have 4 days of learning in classroom and 1 day learning in nature.
Inspired by the WWF Green Ambassador Awards (Green), the TAFGP believes children
should participate in environmentally centric learning as part of their development and
this will inspire the students to become leaders in a more sustainable future.
Policy number nine: Waste
Separating recyclable, organic waste and general waste into their own bins will become
compulsory. Households may get fined if not complying. Inspired by Korean practices,
all of the waste should be recycled in the facilities provided. TAFGP believes if people
follow this policy, the country significantly saves money on support services and reduces
the amount of recyclable waste going to landfill.
Policy number ten: Technology
By 2015, all Internet and Wi-Fi services will use green energy providers. This is
important as it will reduce the use of fossil fuels and carbon emissions associated with
them, and increase the use of renewable and natural energy sources such as wind, wave
and solar power. It will mean that people do not have to compromise access to the
Internet and global communications, which is vital to the world today. This is similar to
the Green Party UK as they are for green energy systems. (Manifesto)
