Your presentation must be created in Google.docs. Your written pieces and presentation must be
submitted through Google Classroom.

1- Process Work
Part A:
Choose a book: Due __________________________
Choose a biography or a memoir to read. It can be from the library or from your own
collection. Your title must be approved by your teacher. No one can read the same book
as anyone else in the class, so it is a first come, first served. Failure to have a book
chosen by the due date will result in a loss of process marks.
Part B:

Summarize the major events and issues in the persons life. For each event or issue you
should make very brief point-form notes (1-2 points for each event/issue) describing how
and/or why the event/issue is important.
Provide page references for each event/issue so that in later parts of the project it is easy
to find information in your book! You should aim for at least 10 items. More are better.

Part C:

Timeline: Due_______________________________

I Identify With list: Due _______________________

Record events, situations, relationships, or characteristics that remind you of your own
life or self OR teach you a significant life lesson. (Make sure everything you share is
PG rated and legal). As you keep your list, provide page references to help you find
information later. You will choose three of the items on your list to create your series of
paragraphs expressing an opinion. Aim to have at least 10 points in this section.

picture of this persons attributes and job skills that can transfer into any situation
Recommend the person in the memoir as a worthy subject. Provide details about
the person that suggest their attributes/skills.
