SUGGESTIONS FOR REFINEMENT OF DASHBOARD

Dashboard gives a detailed view about the companys stand in the market along with
its strengths and weaknesses. It displays the progress of the company over the period with
detailed information about all the parameters. For instance the financial performance
indicator displayed the stock price, profit and leverages of entire product mix.
The purpose of dashboard is to give quick view about where we stand in the market
along with the different measures of improvement and pitfalls happened during that period.
Any change made during a period will get reflected in the dashboard in terms of either the
positive rise towards the right or the negative rise towards left. Usually the company is in the
good position if the bars cross the green zone and it needs improvement if it lies in the red
zone.
SUGGESTIONS:
It will be handful if the dashboard could provide a detailed analysis about the changes
happened during the period.
Comparison of our parameters with the market leader might help the players to plan
their strategy.
Highlighting the changed parameters with respect to the previous period will be
helpful to quickly plan the business strategy for the upcoming periods.
Availability of market forecasting detail will be handful for planning the future
actions.
The dashboard can show some suggestions to keep the growth rate in the upper phase.
Product wise performance detail can be provided to make the decisions regarding the
dropping or introduction of new product.
Suggestion for improvement of the parameters that lies in the red zone
Inclusion of frameworks like BCG matrix and SWOT analysis will help the players
understand better about their products and strategy
Report on the overall consumer behaviour can be included so that the players can
understand what went wrong in their decisions.
