handscape.Yourgoalistocreateacompositionwhichshowcases:
strongandcreativecompositionthatincludesmovementandapowerfulfocalpoint
widerangeofevenandsmoothvalueswhichgivestheillusionofvolume
observationalskillsofhand:properscale,perspective(foreshortening)andproportions

StepbyStepInstructions:

Step1:ChooseaSocietalProblem
Determineasocietalproblemthatisimportanttoyou.Chooseonethatyouwouldbeinspiredtovolunteer
forthecause.Ifneeded,researchthesocietalproblemandthedifferentwaysyoumayhelp.Some
examplesare:childhunger,homelessness,cancerresearch,bullying.Theoptionsareendless.

Step2:PrepareYourPaperandPlanYourComposition
First,drawtheborderonyourpaper.Dontforgettowriteyournameonthebackofyourdrawing.
Then,createatleast5thumbnailsketchesofpossiblecompositions.Suggestion:Drawyourhand
first,thendrawyourhandinaproperlandscape.Forexample,ifyouchosebullyingasyoursocietal
problem,youmaydrawyourhandinaschoolorplayground.Besuretotransformyourhanddrawing
intoahelpinghand.Youmayusesymbolismtodoso,suchasaheartforloveorfoodforhunger.

willcreatearealisticdrawingofyourhand.Useyourartisticlicenseonthelandscapearoundyourhandbe
