heart disease per year in the United States. This disease leads to a chest
pain and can end up with a heart attack. Coronary heart disease mainly
targets people starting from 19 to 60 years old and older. Unfortunately
Coronary heart disease cant be cured, however it can be managed. The
major treatment for Coronary heart disease is changing the lifestyle and
living a healthier life. This disease can also be prevented easy just by
exercising and eating healthy.
Stroke is damage to the brain from interruption of its blood supply.
Stroke is the leading cause of serious, long-term, disability in the U.S. It is
also the third leading cause of death in the United States. One person dies
every 4 minutes from a stroke. Each year, approximately 795,000 people
suffer a stroke. Strokes cant be cured; they require emergency medical
attention because the condition can be fatal. Strokes can cause problems
that affect mobility, speech and memory. Strokes can be prevented by
exercising and living a healthy life.
Now the question is why do we let ourselves get to this level? Is a
burger worth years of suffering from diseases that cant be cured? All these
diseases mentioned above and more can be prevented just by exercising,
eating healthy and monitoring our intakes. Its time to raise awareness in the
United States. Thousands of lives are lost yearly because of their bad diet
choices.
