What is SMILE?
An unequaled S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art
& Mathematics) experience where the emphasis is on hands-on
experiences. The campers are actively learning and creating in a
collaborative, highly interactive laboratory environment mentored by
college students.

Best of SMILE Camp II

A weeklong camp comprised of some of our

most popular experiments from the last 5
years of SMILE camp.

For those campers that have attended the

Best Of week (although not a
prerequisite), this camp continues the path
with different and more in-depth
experiments.

Rocketry
Covers all things rocketry. Build and launch
a variety of rockets- small, medium, and
large using commercial kits and camper
custom design.

Photography
Campers will explore an in-depth
understanding of digital photography and
image composition by taking and editing
photos using the latest software.

Solve the greatest problems facing the

world today as posed by the National
Academy of Engineering. From solar energy
to securing cyberspace, in this engineering
camp we solve the most significant
challenges of today!

3D Printing & Modeling

Software

Use the Arduino platform to build skills in

project design and assembly, circuitry, and
programming.

Learn how to use a 3D drawing package to

make designs and print in 3D! Campers will
take home all of their designs and builds.
