Instructions for Accessing Mastering Physics Textbook and Online Homework

1. Go to http://pearsonschool.com/access
2. Ender the first 6 letters of the student access code: SSNAST
3. Click Covered Titles > Science > Knight/Jones/Field, College Physics: A Strategic Approach 3e
MasteringPhysics > Student Registration
Be sure that you select the THIRD edition (3e). The book image should say college
physics and have a purple background with a water drop on the cover.
4. Click I Accept on the license agreement page.
5. When asked for a Pearson Education Account, select No
6. Enter a login name and password. WRITE THEM DOWN.
7. Enter the access code: SSNASTJEDDAFRONDPOONAMAINTWIVES and click
Next
8. Enter Personal Information for your account.
a. Enter your name and email address.
b. For School Location Select United States and enter 77573 as Zip Code.
c. For School Name select Other
d. Enter Clear Creek High School for school name, League City for School City, and select Texas
for School State
e. Select a security question and enter the answer.
f. Click Next
9. Your account is now created. Click Log In Now or go to
http://www.masteringphysics.com/site/login.html and log in with your username and password.
10. When asked if you received a Course ID, select Yes.
11. Enter the Course ID: MPBROWN24244 and click Continue.
12. Enter your student ID (with all zeroes) and click Continue
13. You will then be taken to the Mastering Physics home page with a calendar of assignments as well as
other information. To access the textbook click on the blue button eText.
