Benchmark 2

1. Mapping
a. You and your team are going to map the locations of organic grocery stores or stores that
have organic sections/ items available. They will be in the Cincinnati area.
b. You will then source where the majority of the stores organic items come from. (Local,
International, etc.) We expect that you find specific farms or locations they source food from.
You will add these locations to your map.
c. Your map will include a key that shows what each symbol means and it will be electronic
because it will be linked to your website when you do the culmination.
2. Is it worth it?
a. You are going to price out the difference between non-organic and organic food items and
come up with what a typical grocery bill might look like
b. You are then going to look at the ingredient differences in the non-organic and organic food
c. You will need to find reliable sources that discuss the major food items ingredients (i.e.
meats, grains, fruits, vegetables, etc)
