Diseasesarebad.Theymakemanypeoplesickandtheycanbeverycontagious.But
vaccinesareheretohelp.Theywillprotectpeoplefromthebaddiseases.Vaccineshavehelped
preventmanypeoplefromgettingdiseases.Somepeoplethinkvaccinescanbebadforpeople
andtheycanharmpeople,butvaccinesonlyhelp.Theypreventoutbreaksofdiseasesandthey
aresafe.Vaccinesaregood.
Somemaysaythatvaccinescauseserioussideeffects.AccordingtotheCDC,all
vaccinescarryariskofanallergicreactioninaboutonepermillionchildren.Therearealso
manyothervaccineswithsideeffects.TheNationalVaccineInformationCentersaysthat
vaccinescouldbelinkedtolearningdisabilities,asthma,autism,diabetes,andmanyothers.And
yet,manypeoplegetvaccinesandveryfewofthosepeoplehaveanyofthesesideeffects.
Vaccineshelppeopleandpreventthemfromgettingdiseasesandalmostalwayswithoutside
effects.
Itisalsotruethatvaccinesareunnecessary.Mostdiseasesthatvaccinestargetare
relativelyharmlessinmanycases.Ifsomeonegetsoneofthesediseases,itcanbetreatedeasily.
However,insteadofgettingoneofthesediseases,avaccinecanpreventsomeonefromgettingit
atall.Eveniftheyareeasilytreated,theycanbeavoidedwithavaccine.

Vaccinesaregoodbecausetheypreventhugeoutbreaksanddiseases.Accordingtoa
studydoneontheMMRvaccine,92%ofchildrengettheMMRvaccine,whichpreventsthem

diseases.Fewerpeoplearedyingfromdiseasesthatwereonceverydeadly.Theyhavegreatly
decreaseddiseasesthatwereonceverycommon.Somediseaseswereonceaverybigproblem.
Manypeopleweregettingthediseasesandgettingverysick.Vaccineshavehelpedpeopletonot
getthediseases.Theyhavewipedoutsomediseases(Vaccines.).Whenpeoplehavevaccines,
thentheycantgetthatdisease.Ifalotofpeoplehavethevaccine,thenthediseasemightnotbe
aproblemanymore.
Vaccinesaregood.Theyhelpmanypeopleeveryday,keeppeoplefromgettingdiseases,
andareamongthegreatestadvancesinpublichealth.Peopleshouldgetvaccinessotheydonot
getdiseasesordiefromdiseases.Wouldyourathergetadiseaseorjustgoandgetavaccination
topreventit?
