Start of Lesson:
Students are to participate in their final game of
volleyball in their allocated teams. Teacher will
call on students to assist in setting up the first
activities before beginning the lesson.

class placing emphasis on the key teaching

Start of lesson:
Students are to organise themselves into the
teams they have been playing in for the previous
weeks.
Teacher will then allocate students by numbering
them from 1-4 and then displaying what their
roles are on a board.
Lesson Content:
- Students will begin by using the schools iPads
to research their role and become familiar with
their new position in the team.
- Once students feel comfortable with their role,
they will be instructed to search through the
apps provided corresponding to their role and
examine how each one works and when they
could be used. For the purpose of this activity,
students will be allowed to leave the classroom
to properly test some of their applications but
will not be allowed to go into the other year
blocks.
- Teacher will move between groups to make sure
students understand their role and are able to
use their applications
Lesson Closure:
- Teacher will collect all of the iPads and make
sure they are all switched off
- Teacher will give students a period of time
where they can ask questions about their role or
the use of their applications
- Teacher will provide the class with information
on the upcoming lesson and the tournament that
will be happening in week 7.

- For this lesson students will need to meet at the
volleyball courts and wait for the teacher
- Students will be instructed to get into their
groups
- The teacher will recap with the class the
positions of the students and make sure that
everyone knows their role before the tournament
each week
- The teacher will allow student to ask questions
about their roles and the rules of volleyball
before discussing the dynamic of the tournament

- Teacher instructs student to get into their teams
and then allows the captains to perform their
warm up activity. Students will begin their game.

Court A Team 1 V 2
- Each team plays 3 sets. The first two sets are to
21 while the 3rd set is only to 15. Students can
have a short drink break in between sets and a
snack in between games.
- Team 3 and 4 will be performing their allocated
roles during this time.

- Each team plays 3 sets. The first two sets are to
21 while the 3rd set is only to 15. Students can
