The Underwater Archaeology Branch (UAB) of the Office of State Archaeology continued to benefit from your assistance with a variety of tasks related to ongoing investigations and publicity for the Queen Anne's Revenge project during 2009. Although actual fieldwork opportunities were limited during the past year, Intersal contributed to an improved understanding of QAR, by arranging with UAB to conduct a remote sensing survey of the site. That work was performed during a separate search for remains of another shipwreck, El Salvador, thought to be in the general vicinity of QAR. The side-scan and magnetometer imaging results were reported in the Intersal/Odyssey Marine Exploration reports submitted as @ requirement for Permit BUI584, and those data have been incorporated into the archaeological and management records for site 31CR314.
