During the first trimester of science we have learned the Photosynthesis,

Respiration, Enzymes, Immune System, Anatomy and Reproduction topics.
For me, some ideas or activities that I found interesting from the 2nd
trimester of science were Reproduction and Anatomy. I found them
interesting because anatomy tells us about our parts of body, Reproduction
was interesting because from a small cell it grows in a human.
I like Science it is one of my favourite class. We always have a lot of
interesting things to do.
We did some experiments during the projects, and it is my favorite part of
work. Weve watched a videos about each of the topic that we have learned.
I still struggle with vocabulary and clear definitions in my answers. One of
my strength in this class is always doing my work and listen to Ms.Cavallo.
Also I like to work with a group and make some experiments. Doing those
projects helped me to get better everything around me.
Today I am going to present Skeletomuscular System Project.

Skeletomuscular
System...
The skeleton and muscles function together as
the musculoskeletal system. This system divides
on 2 parts the muscular and skeletal) it plays an
important homeostatic role: allowing the humans
and animals to move more easily. Special cells in
the bones produce immune cells as well as
important cellular components of the blood. Each
of our movement goes through muscles. Without
this system we would be just a bunch of cells.

Muscles...

Muscles function is to produce force and

motion. The main function of the muscles is
movement. Muscles and Bones are connected
to each other, each muscle has a different
functions and shape. By doing physical
exercises muscles could get sore, also
muscles could get tensions and it cause pain
and there are could be different muscle
diseases.
Protein and active physical load can increase
your muscle growth.

Interesting facts about muscles...

There are approximately 650 skeletal
muscles in the human body.
Every physical action that a person do
performs (speaking, walking) requires
skeletal muscle

Bones...
Bones are often stereotyped as simply a protective and
supportive framework for the body. The bones are passive
organs that means that without muscles bones cannot do
anything. The main functions of this organ is to protect
our organs and support the body.
Moreover, bones stores crucial nutrients, minerals, and
lipids and produces blood cells the nourish the body and
play a vital role in protecting the body against infection.

Bones as a protection...
Bones create our figure (body) and they are
located throughout the body that enables
protecting the body.

So, What do we know?

Muscles - give the shape to our bodies
-Protect and support the internal structure and organs.
Bones- allow movement.
-Skeleton(bones)-support the body, help to regulate blood
calcium, and at the same time muscles support bones and
allow movement.

Diseases...
Bones
-Arthritic
-Osteoporosis
-Osteomalacia
-Tendonitis
Muscles
- soreness, tension and injury

Bones and Muscles cant work

without each other!!!
All people have muscles, but somebody has stronger
and bigger shape of muscles than others.
Bones are made of calcium, there are approximately
206 bones of the human body.
Every bone attached to the muscles that control these
bones and thus we can move. Bones and muscles is
what makes us the way we are.
