Work Experience
Aug 2012 Jan 2014 Assistant Manager for Eurospar in Skerries
I started work for Eurospar in Skerries as a Trainee / Assistant Manager. This gave me great experience in
the retail Sector. I had to be Aggressive, enthusiastic and energetic as a self-starter and be able to set and
achieve goals and work well under pressure. I had to delegate staff, handle cash, Key holder, stocktake and
stock control and maintain the shop floor and deal with any customer queries and I had to do this all in a
timely manner.

Sep 2009 Aug 2011 Bar Manager, Spirit Disco Bar, in Malaga, Spain
I started work for Spirit Disco Bar in September 2009 as a Bar Manager in 24 hour Square, Benalmadena,
Malaga, Spain. It was my parents bar. I had to set it up buy in all the equipment, lights decks etc. I also had
to paint it and get it decorated with furniture and equipment. Then the bar had to be fully Stocked. I also had
to organize and implement a plan in order to get are taps and Fridge / Freezers for free from the Reps. So
whatever Rep had the cheapest prices and deals got my Attention. I also had to plan, Prioritize and
Implement activities.

First I had to advertise for Employees. The local paper was free to advertise for jobs. This gave me many
applicants for the jobs available. In which I picked the best ones for an Interview. After interviewing these
applicants I picked the best looking with the best experience for the role. I also organised events and parties
to increase revenues and to get free advertisement, through word of mouth.

Sep 2007 July 2009 Sales Associate for Meteor Dun Laoghaire
I started work for Meteor as a Sales Associate in Dun Laoghaire. I had done this part time while I was at
college. I then got offered a promotion, to a Full time position within Meteor, so I resigned from my course
and then went full time. I was gaining one hundred and fifty percent of my targets every month. I also
gained great knowledge on phones and accessories and on the different tariff plans from all the different
networks. So this gave me great Sales experience, within the Retail Sector.

May 2006 Sep 2007 Sales Specialist for Three Phone Shop in Grafton Street
I started work for Three as a Sales Assistant in Grafton Street, in Dublin city Centre. I had no knowledge of
Phones or Accessories at this stage and Three thought me everything from scratch. So I have great respect
for this company. I enjoyed working there but unfortunately, I was starting college in Dun Laoghaire and
they had no stores near my college and Meteor did. Also Meteor paid a lot better than Three. Thats why I
left, for better pay and close to my college.

May 2005 Sep 2005 Temporary Clerical Officer for the Revenue Commissioners Customs &
Excise
I started work for the Revenue commissioners Customs & Excise and this was a summer job as a Temporary
Clerical Officer. My duties where to collect all the seized goods from Dublin Airport and to write letters out
to the accused. There were certain procedures that had to be implemented depending on each case. I also
had to work on the switch board and customer service desk, dealing mainly with customers, who paid too
much tax, or wanted to claim tax back on certain goods.

Additional Information
I have worked for Three in Grafton Street as a sales specialist as well as working for Meteor in Dun
Laoghaire. I also have worked for the Revenue Commissioners Customs and Excise as a Temporary Clerical
Officer Grade III, my duties included Filing, Typing letters and working on Customer Service and on
Switchboard, to answer the publics queries. My day also included in collecting tax returns and working in
the seized customs post office. I was typing letters on seized goods and I done this on a daily basis from
Dublin Airport and an Post. I also gained managerial experience working for Eurospar in Skerries as a
Manager; this gave me the ability to work creatively and effectively with staff and managers.
