Hi all,

I have a very urgent problem with ELAU MC-4 firmware

update, I tried a lot of methods to solved it used my DIY sreial
cable, but alaways failured

Now I write the step what I had done

A.
MC-4 side------------------------------------------PC side
2-----------------------------------------------------3
3-----------------------------------------------------2
4-----------------------------------------------------5
Result: The "Firmware Assistant" can't detcted the moudle

B.
MC-4 side--------------------------------------------PC side

Result: The same as above

Result: The "Firmware Assistant" can detcted the moudle now,

but it alaways let me try lower baudrate, I tried change the

baudrate, but no use.

Some ELAU guys seem to have symmetry difficulty

with pinouts...
Here is my cable pinout diagram.

Be careful: always shut down power before

connecting or disconnecting cable on X7... or this
port may definitely burn out !
It is much a better way to upgrade MC4 firmware
through the controller with Ethernet connection
when possible !
