1) Introduction: Clearly states that the purpose of your proposal is to discuss the problem
of rising heroin drug usage throughout Charlotte. Does not include too much background
information, maybe you could include a small statistic about the rising number drug
usage, however your problem section really covers all of that pretty thoroughly, so
perhaps it isnt needed.
2) Problem: The problem is made apparent and explained thoroughly and a need is
created for a solution. Provided good examples as well as technical knowledge. Was not
specifically related to why this is important to me, however it is easy to infer that any
increase in drug use will likely lead to an increase in crime rate( among other things)
which of course is bad for everyone.
3) Objectives: The objectives are very nicely outlined and provide a clear path for your
on-going proposal, maybe the determine possible solutions could be a little more in
depth to explain how you are determining you solution (without giving it away).
4) Solution: Definitely seem to understand it. Many of these seems like great solutions,
and you should mention how you plan to achieve them in your objectives.
5) Method: This functions very well as an outline and gives a good overview about the
proposal. Adding some possible solutions would increase its effectiveness.
6) Resources: Good quoting of articles and statistics
7) Schedule: Good, gave a time period for competition as well as information on what
you will accomplish during this time period.
8) Qualifications: If you had some sort of prior experience (such as a volunteer emt or
something) you should definitely include that, otherwise this is pretty difficult for a
college student to have and is thus irrelevant.
9) Management
10) Costs: Definitely outline the costs of said proposal and I think that the entire proposal
functions to persuade people of the reasonability of the cost.
11) Conclusion: Could just summarize your introduction
12) Reasoning: This is a well thought out, logical, and well researched proposal.
13) Prose: Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. All information was presented
clearly.
14) Graphics
15) Page Design: I thought it looked well designed
16) Ethics: Seemed perfectly ethical.
