they will be doing during the preparation and on game day.

Students will move into Role groups.


Practical: Within their role groups the students will
1. Open up their role page and read through their duties and skills
2. Look at each demonstration of the application that they will use
3. Open the application and experiment using the YouTube clips located
on their pages
4. Open up a paddlet page and collaborate their thoughts on:
a. The application
b. The pros and cons
c. Other applications that could be used to enhance their role
5. Save their paddlet and send to social media to embed into Edmodo.

Students will move back into their team groups


Practical: Each student is to present their role to the rest of the group. They
may use the application to explain their role, however, must remain under
2mins per presentation.
Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)
Gain the students attention. Class discussion based on the following
questions:
What was a highlight of today?
What are the pros and cons of your applications?
Are you able to see yourself using these applications to enhance your
roles?
Anything you are not confident or unsure of?
Transition: (What needs to happen prior to the next lesson?)
Gather students together that will be running the following session. Conduct a
meeting after class or during a lunchtime within the week.

Assessment: (Were the lesson objectives met? How will these be judged?)
Know their duties and skills needed for each role
Formative assessment: Each student needs to present their roles to the
group, which will include explaining their duties and skills required for their
role.
Access their applications and know how to use them
Formative assessment: Paddlet document that will be embedded into
Edmodo. Also the questions that will be asked in the conclusion.
