OPINION: Untitled 3

After nearly two thousand

years in Jerusalem, the
House of Harrari has
opened its doors to the general public in the Holy Land.
The amazing smooth rippling sounds of the harpists
instruments are heard daily
by the patrons who frequent
the establishment that has
brought back the gorgeous

sounds that are reminiscent

of the Life and Times of
King David, the Sweet Singer of Israel. When the First
Temple was erected by King
Solomon, aided generously
by his father, King David,
the harp, the trumpet, the
viola, and many other instrumentalists were hired to
cause the praises of Yahweh to be heard non-stop
throughout the day and
night.
One must merely close their
eyes to find themselves
transported back into the
time of these sweet temple
singers, and the House of
David, the beloved of the
Lord, and a man after Gods
own heart.

May these same sweet

sounds also come to your
dreams this night to cause
you to remember to honor
the King of Glory, in all of
His Graciousness, all of His
Peacefulness, and His
sweet, tender mercies that
are renewed every morning.
This writer spent many
hours playing and singing
beautiful songs in their
place of business and have
wondrous memories of the
blessings and exquisite
craftsmanship by the first
harp makers to grace the
Landscape of Israel, in the
City of David, in Jerusalem.
Shalom Peace be unto your
hearts; now and forever.
Amen.

Mission Statement 4

The place where we see our

creator face to face.
Heaven is a place that is not
completely understood by
me even though I have read
the Bible, prayed, and
talked about Jesus many
times.
I would like to teach you
about Jesus.

No one can get to the Father besides through knowing Jesus and Jesus is love.
Love is kind. Love is patient. Love is not selfseeking. Love does not
boast. Love always rejoices
in the truth and hates what
is evil, love never fails. (1
Corinthians 13).

Tell Em When Theyre Wrong

By Daniel Arnold
Not what they want to
hear.
Im bad with rebuke. I
struggle with giving people
what they want, rather than
what they need.
When a person receives
what they need, one day
that person will usually
come back for more in his/
her time of need.
He/she may hate rebuke/
correction/exhortation at
the time, but if it changes
them, the correction could
become fresh aroma in
his/her life.
An honest answer is like a
kiss on the lips. (Proverbs

24:26)
I can be like a child at
times. I need painful correction from whoever it
comes from. I need to be
humble enough to receive
rebuke and benefit from it.
No discipline seems
pleasant at the time, but
painful. Later on, however,
it produces a harvest of
righteousness and peace
for those who have been
trained by it.
It is important to go to the
source, the Bible, for truth
on rebuking another human being.

breathed and is useful for

teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every
good work. (2 Timothy
3:16-17)
My brothers and sisters, if
one of you should wander
from the truth, and someone should bring that person back, remember this:
Whoever turns a sinner
from the error of their way
will save them from death
and cover over a multitude
of sins. (James 5:19-20)
Truth is mercy!

Vision
By Ricky Royal
Daniel believes my vision is
what propelled me in order
to see the recent success
that Ive received. I also
believe that vision is just a
part of it; and there is also
factors like faith; setting
short-term & long-term
goals.
Epicenter of Worship, the
church I attend, is a great
church I would agree has
vision. Education is important at Epicenter; that
church has what they call
EOWBI. With this certification it allows students like
me to immediately work in
entry level ministry.
Ive already been on my
own taking online classes
at CTU since 2011, receiving an associates of science in accounting, B.S. in

business administration in
June 2014, and currently
working on a M.B.A. in entrepreneurship.
Im a man of faith and my
belief in my Lord and Savior has broken down a lot
of barriers for me. I was
baptized in 2013. This was
the result of being a member at EOW. I think it all
starts in the mind; the Lord
showed me who I really
was inside; and it translated in my actions on the
outside.
I just started to really believe in myself, and really
what the Lord showed and
told me about myself. Before, I had an identity crisis
which most of us have
when transitioning from a
young man into a mature

adult. I remember asking

and praying to the Lord
about who I was; because
he knew before I was born;
is what the Bible says. I
didnt have any idea after
consistently sinning ,which
I learned about in the good
book. As far as vision
goes, I suggest young
adults look to a higher power; while seeking a higher
education to find out what
it is they would like to do
with their lives. We are all
here only for a short
amount of time; and the
fastest way to get to where
you want to go is through is
Jesus Christ. Jesus says in
the book of John, chapter
4; verse 16;
Im the way, the truth, and
Life. In other words if you
need vision for your life;
come to the Lord.

OPINION: Untitled
By Jerome Malloy
Psalm 55:17 Evening, and
morning, and at noon, will I
pray, and cry aloud; and he
shall hear my voice.

John 9:31 We know that

God does not hear sinners;
but if anyone is God-fearing
and does His will, He hears
him.

If I find reason not to pray

in the morning will He still
hear me? If I skip noon
prayer too does it put me at
a greater risk? The real
question is why I would not
want to be praying? We
can move mountains, cast
out demons and lay hands
on the sick in Jesus name
and they shall recover. We
should be so excited to
think of the wonderful
things God can do through
us if we just pray. Prayer is
also communication to the
God of the universe. To
which is an honor and a
privilege. He does not hear
the prayers of the unrighteous.

However, John 5:16b :The

effectual fervent prayer of
a righteous man availeth
much.
If we know which side of
the cross we are, saints or
sinners, it may have an
influence of how much we
devote our day to prayer. I
mean guilt can keep us
hiding like Adam and Eve
did in the garden. Would
you think a child coming
home from school with a
good report card will hide it
from their parent? I want
to be Heavenly Father look
what I did for you today!
not for vain glory but genuine excitement about His

kingdom. If you find yourself not praying much or at

all perhaps it could be your
relationship with God is in
jeopardy. And if it is remember there is one prayer that is always heard
repentance and acceptance of Jesus as Lord.
Dedicate your day to God in
the morning every day and
you will want to pray without ceasing.

The Virgin Republic

By Joseph Max David
Searching for a new world, humans sought liberty. After
wars and strife, simple men stood strong to defend and
proclaim liberty against tyrants who sought to tax them
and oppress their religion.
There are some who have made their claim in the history
book and this is their story.
TyrannyLiving under the thumb of oppressing forces, the population of the colonies believed in
certain rights which were provided by God. They believed that they were given divine
rights. They expressed them in war to proclaim freedom. The United States was born as
the united colonies died at the hands of freedom.
These were amazing people who changed the world. Paul Revere, George Washington,
Thomas Jefferson and John Hancock were but a few minds that had to come together in
order to change the world. Great minds of the revolution inspired by God.

1. What you fear reveals what you value the most!

2. What you fear reveals where you trust God the least.
Psalm 56:2-4
My slanderers pursue me all day long; many are attacking me in their pride.
When I am afraid I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I
trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

Psalm 34:4
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my
fears.
