Corrigendum to Advertisement No. 02/2014-15

In partial modification to the Advt. No. 2/2014-15,

the following amendments are incorporated:

The pay scale mentioned as PB-3+GP Rs.7600/- at Serial no.2 for the post of
Deputy Librarian may be read as PB-3+AGP Rs 8000/-.
The following Clause is added as Serial No. 1-a,, below serial no. 1 in the
General Instructions to the

For the posts at Sl No. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 a

period of probation shall be prescribed, as per
rules, for the positions filled up on direct
recruitment basis.
The word online is deleted from the clause at Serial No. 6 in the General
Instructions to the Cand
didates. Accordingly, Serial No. 6 now reads as under:

under:

qualified, can be considered for direct
recruitment across the whole IIT system upto a
maximum of 50 years of age.
The upper age-limit
limit for the posts of Deputy Librarian, Superintending
Engineer (on deputation basis) and Executive Engineer Civil (on deputation
basis) is 55 years

The other contents will remain unchanged.
