2 Installing VMware Workstation 9 on Windows 7:

1. First of all well need to download the VMware Workstation software, which can
be downloaded from the official VMware website. Double click on the exe file,
the following screen will pop up and click next.

2. Click Typical Installation and click next.

3. Provide the destination folder in which you want workstation to be installed and
click next.

4. Unselect Check for product updates & Help Improve VMware and continue
clicking next until the end of the installation.

5.Choose the shortcuts you want to create and click next.

6. Click continue to start the installation.

7. After a while the installation will ask you to provide a License Key. Provide the
license key and click next to finish the installation.

8. Click on the shortcut icon on the desktop to open the workstation. Accept the license
agreement and click OK.

9. Take a look around all the options provided (make sure to check Edit Virtual Network
Editor to see the network options) and get familiar with the VMware Workstation.
