Chapter 1
1st shade of Judaism and the Hebrews

Dear Journal,
I am tired of foreign rule. I have decided to leave
instead of them keeping us imprisoned. If we try we
are going to fail though. I can tell that because of
the way Assyrians act. I hope that eventually that
we can escape but for now I guess we have to wait.
I will eventually either convince or sneak out of this
place because I am done with this tyranny. And
this is how did ancient Mediterranean civilization.
Starting from the Hellenistic period, when outside
observers first attempted to write about the other
in a dispassionate manner, Greek writers observed
the unique monotheism of Judaism, noting how this
aspect of their religion singled out Jews from all
other peoples that the Greeks had encountered.

Dear Journal,
So I succeeded, only because
Moses came and saved us
from the pelage that was
going around. Im grateful for
him, its about time that we
got out of Egypt. It was
torture, Now Im hoping that
we can find somewhere nice
to stay. We traveled around
in the desert for 40 years
and then we finally returned
to Canaan.

Section 2 Victory

Dear Journal,
I found this place called Athens I
believe and they have made some
improvements to government.
They have created this new thing
we all call Democracy. It is the type
of government when we get to
rule ourselves. There is a meeting
called an Assembly where
everyone is invited but I think that
it may get way too big soon so we
may have to some how figure out a
way to get less people. Maybe we
can elect a counsel with
representatives that we elect. Im
just glad that this new government
happened and I hope that it will
continue to prosper, thats all for

Chapter 2 Ancient Greece

Dear Journal,
I'm here today learning about Greek
Mythology. I heard it is something that
is where it is Greek stories that are how
they explained how, they have gods.
Like Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, and many,
many, more. I think I might write my
own version on these so called
mythology stories. My first one might
be about Zeus and his story. The God
of the Sky. And here is how did
ancient Mediterranean civilizations
impact todays modern world.
The history of Ancient Greece falls into
four major divisions. The Archaic
period , when the civilization's main
features were evolving, lasted from the
8th to the 6th centuries BC. Classical
Greece flourished during the 5th to 4th
centuries BC. This was marked by the
period of the Persian Wars 510-479 BC,
the Golden Age of Athens 479-404 BC,
and the later Classical era 404-338 BC.

Section 3 Zeus

Dear journal,
Zeus is the god of the sky, his
father Cornos had to decide
which of Zeus brothers would
take the throne once Cornos
passed on. Poseidon, Hades
and Zeus all had to fight for
the throne and Zeus came out
on top. I found all this
information out from asking
some Greeks about it. I think I
will talk to the Macedonian
King Phillip the II next. But that

Chapter 3 The Greek World

An account is given of the
contributions made to
Mediterranean culture by all the
peoples that have populated the
previous countries, at different
moments of history. The ancient
Mediterranean civilization, from
ancient times to the beginning of
the Middle Ages, is part of many
remarkable historical events, and
it is one of the most
distinguished civilizations which
have influenced in a good way
of the wide development of the
human cultures.

Dear journal,
Ive have taken over,
After my fathers
death. Things will be
changing, even
though I learned
everything I know
from my father. We
will be a strong
empire, I'm here to
take over and I'm here
to stay. My plan is to
expand, and be one of
the best military
commanders in
human history. To
defeat Athens and
conquer Egypt. And
slowly but it will
happen take over the

a lion. Alexander The Great

This is one of the many

famous quotes I say. My
father was Phillip the II.
At the age of 20, I took
the throne after my
father died. My first act
was to stop the Greek
rebellions. Next was to
conquer Egypt with no
fight at all. Then I started
to slowly conquer the
Persian Empire, but after
did my soldiers did not
want to keep going. So
we decided to go home. I
dont feel so good, Ill
keep going.
