Beginning of explorations

Long time ago in 1400 all the people thought the world was flat.
They started to explore in the end of 1400 ship set out to
different countries. In the medieval times people used to live in
small cities

After the medieval came renaissance. Renaissance was also

known as rebirth they had a new life they had a new form of
architecture and life there was interest for geography, Inventions,
anatomy and , trade. The greatest invention was the printing
press of the renaissance period. The Europeans wanted to
become rich so they decided to have trade with Fareast they
where trading silk , porcelain, spices and jewels from Asia The
only obstacle for the trade was it had to go through Muslim
nations.

built a school to teach the sailors about finding new routes from

Portugal to Asia. In 1487 they reached the tip of Africa to India.

Cristopher Columbuss voyage was from 1492 to 1493 when he
was sailing for a long time people thought he would never reach
anywhere and people thought they would reach the tip of the
world because long back ago people thought the world was flat
and not round. After sailing around in the ocean for a long time
Cristopher Columbus reached an island called Bahamas.

Reflection

I really enjoyed doing this project this project was super

interesting and I learned a lot from this unit and how they
traded.Now I understand how the Europeans got rich they got
rich by trading with the Fareast but it took some time for them to
reach the Fareast.I learned different peoples perspectives and
what they thought.

Christopher Columbus found that the world was round not

flat.This topic was so fun and I enjoyed doing the Power Point and
making the timeline.
