Easter Scrapbook Project

During Holy Week and the Easter season, our class will be
completing an Easter Scrapbook. This activity is intended to
create a greater awareness of our calling as Jesus disciples in our
daily lives.
I have broken up the activities into pages and students are
expected to reflect upon Jesus actions/journey and apply His
teachings in our everyday lives.
The more students can demonstrate these teachings, the more
meaningful their work will be!
Here is a list of material that will be necessary in completing your
project:
A scrapbook
Glue, scissors, markers, pencils, stickers, clipart
Printed family photos and/or pictures of friends.

These are the required pages in your scrapbook:

PAGE ONE: Title Page
Your must create a title page for your project. Give
your work a title. Be Creative!
PAGE TWO and THREE: Stations Of the Cross:
a. Name and colour each station of the cross. I
have provided each student with handout that
they can cut and paste into their scrapbook.
b. Write 2 sentences under each station describing
how you would of felt if you were Jesus and how
you think Jesus must of felt.

PAGE FOUR: Good Friday

Find pictures that illustrate peoples struggles in
their lives and make a collage.
PAGE FIVE: Easter Vigil
During this service we renew our baptismal promise.
Dedicate this page to your baptism. You may find
pictures of your special day and/or ask your parents
to help you write about your baptism. (e.g. Who was
there? How they felt? What did they do? Etc.)
PAGE SIX: Easter Sunday
This is a day of great joy! Find a way to illustrate this
in your scrapbook. This include adding pictures of
your family celebrating Easter. Christians all over the
world will be celebrating. Write about how are you
and your family celebrating Easter.
PAGE SEVEN: Easter and Change
For your final page in your scrapbook, illustrate and
write how you will continue to be a disciple of Christ.
What will you continue to do to help others, to be a
good person and to be a better Christian? This can
be down through a poem, a letter to Jesus, pictures
of your actions, etc.
