Corrupted Economy
____________________________________

Venezuela faces a lot of economy problems.

Venezuela has been categorized as one of the
countries with major economy problems. It
has been said that due to oil prices the
economy has dropped 25%. That is a huge
percentage if you ask anyone. Venezuelans
think that if they lower down the prices they
will make less than what they usually make.
Venezuelas economy is bad to the point
where they owe around 28 billion dollars to
the banks. It has been 2 years and they still
have not finished paying off this debt.

In the article it said that Venezuela is low

on money because of people stealing and
1
giving it away to cartels.
Venezuelans are
angry because they dont get paid enough.
They want to get paid like a normal person
gets paid at a job. Economy for Venezuela is
also in bad shape because of gas. Gas prices
have gone up by 10% in the past year. Due to
this, a lot of people are not using vehicles. In
another article it mentioned that 96% of the
money that have to go to people are going to
2
petroleum products.
Venezuela is categorized as one of the top
countries to face economic problems. No one
is doing a change to make Venezuelas
economic better. What Venezuela needs is to
stop wasting money on products people dont
even use and start building up companies so
that way people could have a job and get
payed fair. Also stop giving away money to
drug cartels because first off its illegal and it
is not helping the people of Venezuela.

Corrupted Venezuela Leader

Imagine your country with a lot of
corruption and a lot of people aligned with
drug cartels. That would be an unsafe country
and I am sure nobody would want to live in it
with these problems. Venezuela is a country
with a big issue. Especially with drug cartels.
People living in Venezuela have went to
protest against this major problem. Due to
these protest and all the violence that people
have done, it has lead to the biggest disaster in
all of the Venezuelan history. It has been said
that drug cartels are associated with the
government/democracy. Even with police
officers. How can people assure that they are
safe when the whole government system is
corrupted and the police supports the drug
trafficking. Who can the people trust? In the
article that I was reading, it said that a lot of
money has been stolen from politics that have
1
something to do with Drug cartels.
Also in
this article it explains why a lot of people are
1
protesting in the streets of Venezuela.
That
reason is because since politics steal money
from banks, and many of people

are beginning to either quit their job, because

they don't get paid well, or because companies
just decide to shut down because of low
money. In the article I was reading, it said that
a police officer was involved with a cocaine
trafficker by helping him invest money on his
3
cartel.
Think about this, why do politics and
police officers have a connection with drug
cartels? That is the question a lot of people ask
themselves. I feel that Venezuela needs help
with taking care of these situations because if
they dont then Venezuela will become a full
corrupted country like for example Iraq, Iran,
and many others.
In my opinion I feel like the whole
venezuelan country is just a whole corrupted
country because nobody is doing a change to
make this place better. Another thing I found
in my article is that the Venezuelan president
says that he will make a change to increase
3
money profit in a lot of companies.
However
people dont want this to happen because they
think it will just be a complete lie from the
president. Also the article said that people
dont want the president to increase money
because that means that the drug cartels will
2
receive twice the money.
We should do
something about this so that we can do a
better change for the country of Venezuela.
