CERTIFICATE
Herewith we certifiy that our surveyor has witnessed a perfomance verification test of a hose described
hereunder, in accordance with the API RP 16 C choke and kill systems sections, 9.14.12.1 and
9.14.122
Manufacturer: Taurus, Emerge Hungarian Rubber Industrial Ltd. Co., Szeged, Hungary
Tested Hose: Flexible choke and kill line
| Inner Diameter: 3
| Rating working pressure: 690 bar (10.000 psi)
Test pressure: 1.035 bar (15.000 psi)
Minimum burst pressure: 1.550 bar (22.500 psi)
Operating temperature range: -20 to 82 Grad C (-4 to 180 Grad F)
Hose serial no, to2is
Hose construction no.: MT 1522-0000
Hose body construction no.:_ MT 1522-1000
Length of hose: 45m
‘Minimum bend radius 14m
The following test were witnessed by our surveyor:
1. Hydrostatic internal pressure test
The hose was pressurized to test pressure and held for 1 hour.
‘The hose was pressure cycled 260 pressure cycles from 0 to rated working pressure.
The rated working pressure was held for five minutes duration per cycle. There was no visible
leakage during the test.
2. Bending flexibility test at minimum rated temperature
‘The hose was conditioned for 24 hours at minimum rated temperature.
After conditioning 100 eycle bending was performed on the hose. The hose was bent to 90 Grad at
the specified minimum bend radius.
3. Burst Test
| The hose was pressurized 100 bar per minute. During the pressure application there was no visible
| leakage in the body and couplings. The hose was bursted at 1871 bargDNV Id. No.
209 6 0048,
The following tests were carried out by the Manufacturer and the recoreded test results were approved
by our surveyor.
4, Bending flexibility test of empty hose at room temperature
‘The empty hose was cyclic bent for 270 cycles.
5. Bending felxibility test of pressurized hose at room temperature
The hose was pressurized to the working pressure and cyclic bent for 270 cycles.
There was no visible leakage during the test.
6, Exposure test 82 deg. Celsius according to API 16 C, 9.14.12.2.
‘The results of this evaluation being satisfactory and summarized in Reports Nos. SF-104/96, SF-105/96,
SF-106/96, SF-107/96, 424/96 and 23/96.12.
