Registration must be completed 10 days from the start of course. 15 April starts the
course. Please be registered by 23 April.
B. Course Description

This course is designed for teachers to gain a deeper understanding of how to integrate
technology into their individual classrooms. Teachers will self-assess their technology usage
using a digital taxonomy. Depending where each teacher falls on the taxonomy, they will
explore, experiment and use new technologies in their individual classrooms.
C. Course Requirements

Please comply with all requirements. All class materials are due by May 29, 2015. No
exceptions will be made regarding due dates for the work. All work must be turned in on time.
A minimum of 16 hours of direct instruction, planning, and collaboration are required
for 1 semester credit hour.

D. Course Objectives: -

The outcome of the course will depend on following the principles of: show, create, teach, and
reflect. Each participant will learn new technologies for their classroom. Participants will
implement a newly learned technology piece in their classrooms. Participants will share their
results in this class.

E. Course Readings: Short articles on effective professional development will be given to participants
during the course.
