The MAR GETDetect system includes encapsulated,
embedded tracking sensors capable of long-range
wireless monitoring of mining buckets to detect missing
Ground Engagement Tools. This fast, reliable and realtime detection system sends a notification to warn the
machine operator of the tooth breakage so that
precautionary measures may be taken before damage
occurs at crushers, conveyors or other critical
downstream equipment.
With the MAR GETDetect system, breakage of a tooth
can be immediately detected before it results in
significant loss of production, equipment damage and
safety hazards.
Ground Engaging Tools (GET) - the large, heavy, steel
wear components attached to mining shovels and
excavators.

Screen (HMI) installed in the operators cabin for
monitoring and alarming
GETDetect sensor is capable of detecting loss even
when the tooth is buried in ore.
GETDetect sensor can provide reliable performance in
harsh mining environment and withstand high
temperatures.
Individual tooth temperature monitoring (optional).
Minimal installation required to fit-out of a machine
with GETDetect.
May be installed to monitor teeth, adapters, wear
plates, or any other equipment at risk of breakaway.
