Targetgroup:
Thiscourseisintendedforanyonewithadesiretoincreasetheirproficiencyinusingtechnologyinthe
classroom,especiallyforthoseeducatorswishingtolearnhowtoeffectivelyuseelearningplatforms
torunonlinecourses.Thecoursecontentisnotlimitedtoteachersofaspecificsubject.Onthe
contraryitisopentoteachersofallsubjectsandlevels.
Predeparture:
Traineeswillreceiveaquestionnaire,whichwillprovideinformationontheirteachingbackground,
qualifications,andpreviousexperiencewithelearning.
Objectives:

Provideteacherswithpracticalideasforhowtheycanincorporatetechnologyintotheirexisting
lessons.

FamiliarizeteacherswithcurrentInternettrendsandhowtheycanbeappliedinthecreationof
anelesson.

FamiliarizeteacherswiththeusesandfunctionsoftheMoodleplatform.

AllowteacherstocreatetheirowncontrolledtestcoursesontheMoodleplatform.

Provideteacherswiththeskillsandknowledgenecessarytocreateandimplementtheirown
elearningplatform.

Provideteacherswithresourceswithwhichtheycanaugmenttheirelearningcontent.

AllowteacherstoshareideasandculturaldifferenceswithothernationalitiesfromtheEU

ProvideteacherswithaninsightintoCzechcultureinthehistoricalcityofPrague.

Methodology:
Thiscoursewillbestructuredinto8differenttrainingmodules,eachofwhichcoversadifferentaspect
ofusingelearningineitheratraditionalclassroomoranonlinesetting.Courseworkwillcontainamix
oftheoreticalandpracticalknowledge,oftenallowingtheteacherstointeractwiththeelearning
systemsinahandsonway.Theywillpracticethenecessaryskillsinordertobeabletoeffectivelyuse
theirownelearningsystemswiththeirownstudents.

Themethodologicalapproach:
Studentswillbegiventhetheoreticalinformationthattheyneedtoeffectivelycreateandimplimenttheir
ownelearningsolutions.Usingthistheoreticalknowledge,theywillthencompleteseveralpractical
tasksdesignedtoteachthemhowtoproperlyandeffectivelyuseanelearningplatform.Eachmodule
willattempttoincorporatetheexistingknowledgeandexperienceofthetraineesinanefforttocreate
ahelpfullearningenvironmentwhileatthesametimedemonstratingtheimportanceofcollaboration
andsharedcreationintheelearningprocess.Inaddition,eachtraineewillproduceasampleelesson
accordingtotheirbackgroundsandneeds.Theinstructorwillpresentinformation,guidethestudents
throughthepracticalcomponents,andofferfeedbackandsuggestions.
