oga is the art of breath control, meditation, body

postures and relaxation. The practice of yoga has
recently become very popular among the stars and
many other ordinary people. Many university students
have also started usuing yoga as a technique to help with
becoming a better student. Yoga helps students to focus
better on daily tasks, pay attention in class better and be
able to handle the stresses of homework. Students also
use breathing techniques to calm them down in times
of stress. At Bloomsburg University there are multiple
opportunities both on and off campus to practice yoga.
The student recreaction center offers yoga classes 2
times a week. Another option for students is attending
classes at Willow Tree Wellness & Counseling. Willow
tree offers both yoga classes and meditation classes. On
Tuesday nights from 6:45 to 8 pm, they offer a Bloomsburg student only yoga class. The class is offered to
students for a price of $10 which is a $2 discount from
their normal classes. Bloomsburg students have a great
variety of options to practice yoga, or even just try yoga
out to see if it works for them.
