Resumen: ayy ibn Yaqn y la potica del espacio. El presente artculo aborda la cuestin de la
potica del espacio en un texto andalus sobresaliente, la historia de ayy ibn Yaqn, de Ibn
ufayl. El artculo se divide en dos secciones: una primera en la que se estudia el marco terico en el
que se inscribe el concepto del espacio, en la que se procura reunir las ideas distintas surgidas al
respecto y estructurarlas, y una segunda seccin en la que tratan de plasmarle las ideas tericas sobre
el texto literario y filosfico de Ibn ufayl.

Abstract: ayy ibn Yaqn and the poetry of space. This study deals with the poetry of space in a
remarkable andalusi text, that of the history of ayy ibn Yaqn, by Ibn ufayl. The article is
divided in two sections. The first one provides the theoretical framework of the concept of space,
trying to bring together and structure the different ideas advanced on this regard. The second
sections seeks to apply this theoretical framework to the literary and philosophical work by Ibn
ufayl.
