Learning Outcomes
By the end of the dispensing lab the student will be able to:
Dispense a controlled drug in a legal and ethical manner including completion of all relevant paperwork
Describe the main risks associated with smoking
Describe the main pharmacological interventions for smoking cessation
Dispense NRT in a legal and ethical manner
Advise patients who are quitting smoking
Advise patients taking medication for pain and constipation
