Mission Statement
Throughout the trajectory of my professional practice, I will never lose sight of the fact

that students are at the center of the work that I do. I will commit to the holistic development
of the students I serve, to prepare them to be excellent students while in school and
responsible citizens beyond their collegiate career. I will continue to engage in professional
development in an effort to both connect with peers in the higher education field and develop
new skill sets that will aid in my ability to be a better professional. I will also commit to being a
lifelong learner in order to stay current on trends that affect the students in which I work with
and to continue to allow theory and research to inform my professional practice.
