1. OGDCL has made oil discovery in Nim exploration licence at Jarwar-1 well in Sindh Province. The well was
spuded on September 29, 2014 and drilled to the depth of 1476 meters. A successful DST was carried out which
flowed at a rate of 480 BOPD of oil through down hole jet pump.
2. UEP has made gas discovery in Dabhi mining lease at Korai-1 well in Sindh Province. The well was spuded on
October 1, 2014 and drilled to the depth of 3160 meters. A successful DST was carried out which flowed at a rate
of 11.30 MMCFD of gas through 8/64 choke size.
SURRENDER OF EL
OGDCL has applied for surrender of Rachna exploration licence w.e.f.26-09-2014.
