1.Organization
The teacher greets the pupils. The pupils greet him back.
The teacher asks simple questions : Who is on duty
today? What was your homework? Who is absent today?
2.Checking homework
The teacher begins the lesson checking homework.
The Ex 4, 5 from workbook; p. 61 reading the poem.
3. Preparation
The teacher asks the pupils: What does the children
know about St. Valentines Day? When do people
celebrate St. Valentines Day?

2. REALIZATION OF MEANING
New Material presentation
a) Pre-Reading
The teacher refers the pupils to the vocabulary, reads
the words aloud and asks the pupils to repeat them in
chorus. Then teacher asks the pupils to put down the
words with transcription and translation in their
vocabularies.

b) While-Reading
The teacher refers the children to the poem. The
teacher reads the poem aloud and with intonation. The Textbook
teacher asks the pupils to read the poem in turns and to
translate.
c) Post-Reading
The teacher asks the pupils some questions: What the
poem My Valentine is about? Do you understand the
meaning of the poem? The pupils answer the questions.

learn by heart the poem My Valentine , and to make one
Valentine on the exhibition.
