1, POWER ON/OFF AND BYPASS SWITCH
Just press the power switch and the amplifier will be on by lighting LED lamp.
(which is builting equalizer control) While the switch is on By pass position sound
directly comes from the car radio or car stereo player.
2. EQUALIZER CONTROL
Slide control button you can choose your desired tone and sound by 7 band which
operate on 60, 150, 400, 1K, 2.4K, 6K, 15KHz
3. SPEAKER FADER CONTROL
A) For 4 Speakers System:
Facer control can be adjusted by turning the knob to the front side brings up
the level of the front speakers. Tuning it to the rear side brings up that of the
rear’s at mid-position. Both sets of speakers are at maximum level
B) For 2 Speakers System:
The fader control knob should be tuned to the end of position which provides
the loudest sound for using set of speakers.
4. SPECTRUM BARGRAPH DISPLAY
The spectrum bargraph display consists of eight LED arrays of 7 LED’s an array
{a total of 56 LED's) to show output level from miximg of left and right channel's
input signal by frequency. The output level is calibrated in 3 dB increments from
-10 dB to +6 dB for visual monitoring signal level by frequency.
5. VOLUME CONTROL
In normal, the volume cotrol is setting on car radio or player but this amplifier can
adjust also.
6. CD INPUT JACK
Connecting a Compact Disc Player to the Equalizer/Booster. If you have a portable
CD players, you can connect it to your Equalizer/Booster. Obtain a stereo patch
cord with a stereo mini plug at both ends, and connect the line-out jack of your
CD player to the CD input jack on the front of the Equalizer/Booster. When using
your CD, always turn it on before turning on the E/B. Start the CD player and
adjust the FADER and FREQUENCY EQUALIZER controls on the Equalizer/
Booster
CAUTION: Compact discs have an extremely wide dynamic range. They can
reproduce very soft passages and almost instantly reproduce very loud sounds.
Therefore, take care when setting the master volume. Do not base your volume
setting on the soft passages, because if the sound suddenly becomes loud, your
speakers can easily be damaged.
—3-GAUTION PLEASE NOTE
1. The unit and the speaker will be damaged if there is a connection to the ground
(chassis) from any speaker wire.
2. For best result, speakers should be rated to safely handle the additional power
output provided by the unit speakers with low power rating may be damaged.
3. This equipment is intended for use in 12V DC negative ground electrical system
only. The use of voltage or polarity converters is discouraged.
4. To avoid the possibility of short-circuiting the output stages both radio and the
amplifier should be switched-off (preferably disconnected from the power supply)
when installing and wiring the speakers.
5. Use high or low level inputs to the equalizer. Both can-not be connected at the
same time.

Your PYRAMID 300 Watt Stereo 7-Band
Equalizer/Booster with CD Input is an
example of superior design and
craftsmanship. The following sugges-
tions will help you care for the equal-
izer/booster so you can enjoy it for
years.
Keep the equalizer/
booster dry. If it does
get wet, wipe it dry im-
mediately. Liquids con-
tain minerals that can
corrode electronic cir-
cuits,
Use and store the equal-
(>), izer/booster only in nor-
mal temperature envi-
— ronments. Temperature
extremes can shorten
the life of electronic de-
vices and distort or melt
plastic parts.
Handle the equalizer/
booster gently and care-
fully. Dropping it can
damage the circuit
boards and can cause it
to work improperly.
L
Keep the equalizer/
booster away from dust
and dirt, which can
cause premature wear
of parts.
Wipe the equalizer/
booster with a damp
cloth occasionally to
keep it looking new. Do
not use harsh chemi-
cals, cleaning solvents,
or strong detergents to
clean the equalizer/
booster.NOTES
