1. Why is personality type important to consider when choosing a career?

Personality type is important to consider when choosing a career because, it determines what
careers would fit ones criteria and interests. Personality type matches careers that require
similar strengths and abilities that person obtain. Lastly, it provides insight and information
that can help when deciding what career is most fulfilling.
2. List two strengths indicated on your report. Give an example or examples from your life that
demonstrate that these qualities are strengths.
Two strengths indicated on my report are making thoughtful decisions based on practical
considerations and conducting organized, well-planned out research. My strengths have got
me far in my life such as getting emancipated and being able to financially support myself.
In order to do this for myself I needed to use my strengths and determine if my decisions
were beneficial for my future and be organized to follow through with my plans.
3. List two blind spots indicated on your report. Give an example or examples from your life
that demonstrate that these qualities are blind spots.
Two blind spots indicated on my report are being too humble, and not presenting my
accomplishments in the best light and lastly, not anticipating how present decisions may
affect me in the future. I have been doubtful and could not accomplish the best in me due to
being a bit too modest which has harmed my progress. The decisions I made this year
because I was uncertain and overthought situations has lost my position in entering a fouryear university. This has affected my future and shows my hidden weaknesses.
4. What qualities should a career have in order to satisfy your particular personality?

The qualities a career should have in order to satisfy my particular personality is a work
environment that requires socializing and interacting with people who need emotional and
mental support. The career should include being able to diagnose people with disorders and
being able to research and make personal evaluations of individuals.

5. What qualities should a learning environment have in order to maximize your learning?
The qualities a learning environment should have in order to maximize my learning is
resources such as books and facts that help explain and enhance my understanding.

Two careers from the list that interest me is a psychologist and nurse practitioner. I enjoy
healing and helping people both, mentally and physically. The two careers I listed would
help me form relationships with my patients that would comfort and even transform their
lives.
