Experience
I have had a great deal of experience working in the area that I am majoring in. I had the opportunity to instruct
middle thru high school aged students in Service Over Self Summer Leadership Camp. I have also completed
numerous hours of field work and tutoring working with various elementary schools (Mellichamp, Brookdale,
Sheridan, and Whittaker) in the area. I have also worked with Claflin University L.I.F.E. and National
Professional Development( NPD). Both of these programs provided me with hands on experience with
working with and tutoring students in the school system from diverse backgrounds and those with various
learning styles and abilities. Additionally I completed my student teaching at Marshall Elementary School,
Orangeburg S.C.
