Figure 1 DARFOR assessment

This clearly shows the profusion of H. non-scripta during the late flowering stage on the drumlin
surface during the month of June. Bracken is at an early growth stage and has not yet
established its dense cover and the higher mid-island area, Quadrat 3, regiasters a slower
growth rate. Wood sorrel is recorded sporadically on the drumlin surface.
Iniskee, Inis Caoich, Comparative island assessment
H. non-scripta is absent from the random quadrat record of Iniskee. Bracken was present in
small numbers and wood sorrel was not recorded. A brief fieldwalk at this stage did not uncover
any other specimens of bluebell or wood sorrel. A more in-depth island comparison study could
be conducted in the future.
