1) January 6th - Students will be grouped in groups of 4. Each student will need 1 sheet of paper for taking notes.
Students will watch a video on Context Clues and take notes on what they feel is important. Once the video is complete, the students will be given 10 minutes
to discuss their notes as a group. Last, each group will share out their findings to the entire class.
2) January 27th - Students will reflect on their notes from January 6th. They will watch a Powerpoint presentation and create a foldable in their groups of 4.
The foldable should include the term we've been studying, its definition, and some examples of how to use Context Clues. During the final 10 minutes of class, students will
share out their small projects.

3) February 3rd - Students will be introduced to Inferences. They will sit in new groups of 4 and will need a sheet of paper for nte taking.
They will watch a video on Inferencing and take notes on what they feel is important. They will have 10 minutes to discuss their notes within their groups.
Next, they will share o their findings with the class.
4) February 17th - Students will return to their groups that they were in on the 3rd. They will be given a few minutes to review their notes from the 3rd.
Next, the students will watch a Powerpoint presentation on Inferencing Skills. Using what they've learned from the video, their notes, and the presentation, the students
will create a foldable on Inferencing. Their foldable must have the term, the definition, and a few examples of inferences.

Students will take notes on the video and will have 10 minutes to discuss their findings within their groups. They will be given 10 minutes to discuss.
Lastly, the students will share out their findings to the class.

6) March 23rd - The students will assemble into ther groups they were in on the 6th.
Using their notes from the 6th, the teacher will lead them through a quick review of what we learned on the 6th. Next, the students will be guided through a Powerpoint presentation on Drawing Conclusions.
Once they've completed the presentation, they will work within their group to create a foldable on Drawing conclusions
The foldable must include the term definition, any facts about the term, and some examples of Drawing Conclusions.
Lastly, they';; share out their projects for the day to the class.

7) April 6th - By now the students should be catching on to how things are done. Again they will select a new group of 4.
Students will take out a piece of paper to gather notes on while watching the video on Making Predictions.
After the video is complete, the students will be given 10 minutes to share their thoughts and notes on the video.
Next, They will share out their findings and thoughts to the class.
8) April, 20th - Students will get grouped according to the groups they were in on April 6th. We will review briefly what we did on April 6th.
Next, the students will be guided through a Powerpoint presentation on Making Predictions. Once the powerpoint is complete, the students will begin
working on their foldables in groups. Their foldable must contain the Term definition, a few examples of the term, andany information related to the term.
Lastly, the students will share out their foldables with the class.

9) May, 11th - Students will be learning their last and final skill this month. Students will create their new group of 4 students.
Students must all have 1 piece of paper out to take notes. Students will watch a video on Summarization.
Next, students will have 10 minutes to share their notes and thoughts with each other. Lastly, each group will share out their findings with the class.
10) May, 25th - For the last time, the students will regroup with the very same group they were in on May 11th.
They will given a few minutes to discuss their notes from the 11th and then the teacher will guide them through a Powerpoint presentation on Summarization skills.
Using their notes from the 11th, and the presentation from today, the students will create their final foldable.
Their foldables must include the term definition, a few examples of how to use this strategy, and an other important information from their discussions or notes
Lastly, each group will share out to the class.
