new innovative ideas when using technology in the classroom.

Indiana University Marketing Department Assistant at the Student Recreation Sports Center 20132015

Responsibilities included tabling events to promote upcoming programs sponsored by the gym, generating
conversations with participants, and creating tabling activities.

This position helped me learn how to generate conversations with all the people I encountered, which in turn helps me
cater to all the different students in my classroom.

Activities were created to get participants interested and engaged in our promotions; this type of brainstorming and
creativity work has served me well as a teacher, as I do it daily when creating lessons.

Personal Nanny for 9-year old boy & 11-year old girl,2014

daily adult supervision

Time spent with the children helped me to understand the growth, development, and knowledge that a child at these
ages are experiencing

Camp Adventure Social Media Journalist 2013

Videoed and photographed middle school and elementary age students while at summer camp, and also created 6-8

daily activities and events and posted to a live website for parents, guardians, and friends to look at while students
were away at camp

Indiana University Group Exercise Instructor 2011-2013

Gained training and experience in three different formats that were taught to IU students and faculty at the IU gym.

Formats includes: Cycling, Cardio Core, and Deep Water Exercise.

Teaching group exercise taught me to adapt to the difference learns in my class. If a participant was having difficulty
with a specific exercise, a simpler, or even harder one, was shown to them. These observation skills have crossed over
into my classroom on a daily basis.

Childcare Provider at Janelle Kramers Daycare 2009-2011

Worked as a childcare provider during the summers of 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Duties included supervising children ages 2-10, preparing meals, and creating multiple educational related activities

what to expect from an average child during each phase of their development.

Skills

Great leadership capabilities with no hesitation to take the lead on projects, big and small.

Through my years in an education program I have been given a wide range of experiences teaching in rural, urban,
low and high SES, and classrooms overseas. All of these have given me a skill set to problem solve, take initiative,
and dream big when it comes to the work that can be done in my future classroom.

Through my positions as a social media journalist and marketing assistant, Ive become a very outgoing and
friendly person which will help welcome my students and help me to form relationships with my colleagues.
