TheproblemswillscaffoldoneachotherinthefactthatIwilluseanIdo,wedo,
youdomodel.
Theproblemswillbeasfollows,3+6=?,3x3=?,and6?=4.ThenIwillrewrite
themandreplacethe?andXwith3+6=X,3x3=X,6X=4.
EachtimeIwillgivestudentstwominutestocompletetheproblems.ThenIwill
chooseastudenttogivemetheiranswerandrequirethattheyexplainhowthey
cametothatanswer.
StudentswillwritetheiranswersonthewhiteboardsasinstructedandIwillableto
seewhogotthecorrectansweralongwiththeworktheyusedtocompleteit.
