Teamwork Will Make This Dream Work
Human trafficking is slavery. People are taken from the lives they used to know and
transported to an alternate world where they are humiliated and abused everyday. They take
women and even children and we pretend it is not even happening. These people are incredibly
strong but they need help. Human trafficking is an inhumane, modern day form of slavery that
results in the loss of hope and in some cases life; therefore this form of oppression needs to be
stopped.
There are many things we all can do to get rid of human trafficking or at least save people
from it. There are organizations you can to join to help past victims of human trafficking to move
on with their lives, they may not be able to forget the horrible things theyve seen, but you can
help them try to have a normal life again ("We Need Concerted). You can also petition more
specific laws against human trafficking. The laws will make sure police are allowed to get
involved and actually arrest the traffickers instead of falsely accusing victims and just giving the
traffickers fines, that are eventually paid with the money the enslaved, persecuted people make
for them ('They said I). Additionally, more people need to be aware of this issue. The poor
victims are being tortured and having their lives wasted for people who cannot make their own
money. People pretend there is nothing wrong with the world and we need to manifest these
people of their delusions and show them what is really going on ("Nation must improve).

Human trafficking, the gruesome slavery that is being overlooked and ignored by many,
is ruining lives and needs to be stopped. Help by joining organizations and clubs that are working
together to save the poor victims of human trafficking such as Awareness Against Human
Trafficking (HAART) in Kenya, Called to Rescue in Vancouver, Breaking Free in
Massachusetts, and there are many more you could research and get in contact with. Even
volunteering to work on the crisis hotline for human trafficking would be a obliging (We Need
Concerted). The people who are enslaved need help in that unbearable environment, they need to
know that they can be saved and there are people out there willing to work for their freedom.
With help and support of many people we can make a difference and maybe one day, get rid of
the slavery we thought was diminished many years ago.
