Monologue is a first person speech said by one

person.
It has a defined purpose within a larger work.
The monologue always has a listener.
A monologue is not a storyin monologues we dont
describe action, we do it.
Criteria for a good monologue
-A clear need to speaka reason to say something.
-Character-specific language (stutter, big words, long
pauses, etc.)
-A journey (physical or emotional)
