AC Circuits Lab EXPERIMENT NO.

4
The purpose of this laboratory activity is to design a circuit that produces a specified
output voltage. In the said activity, a circuit configuration is given with unknown values
of passive elements.
Equipments:
1 AC Signal Generator
1 Oscilloscope
1 Breadboard
Wires
Clamps (crocodile)
Multimeters

Design Problem:
A circuit with an unspecified R, L, and C is shown in the figure. The input source is Is = 10 cos
1000t A, and the goal is to select the R, L, and C so that the node voltage is V = 80 cos 1000t V.

Assumptions and Situation: (State the given parameters)

Goal: (State the required/objective of the problem)

Procedure and Computation: (Action plan)

Conclusion: (Verification of result)
