Purpose
This
summative
assessment
is
to
see
second
grade
students
understanding
of
how
communities
change
and
deal
with
problems
that
arise,
as
well
as
how
individuals
shape
their
communities.
This
assessment
will
assist
the
teacher
in
determining
if
a
student
understands
why
communities
grow
and
why
they
shrink.
It
will
also
assess
their
comprehension
of
a
timeline
of
events
of
a
city,
which
might
include
population
growth.
