Comments: Ms. Mason behaves very professionally at the office and is well liked by her peers.
She is very familiar with the client population that the Healthy Kids and Kidneys program
serves as well as the areas where each school is located in the city of Detroit.
She understands that the students we provide the program for are eligible for the program
because they live in severely economically depressed areas with 80-90% of enrolled students
being eligible for free or reduced meals.

Comments: Ms. Mason consistently demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the manner
in which the students she teaches may be affected by their home, neighborhood and community
environment.

Comments: Ms. Mason has engaged in some activities related to data collection and program

Comments: Ms. Mason has facilitated 8 classes through intervention and evaluation. She
consistently points out that when working with the students, we need to consider their home
environment.
